Deep connections

My mission is to support leaders and senior executives in creating inclusive environments where employees from marginalised and underrepresented backgrounds can thrive. Curiosity about people has shaped my life and career, I build deep, genuine connections because I care deeply about learning from and understanding those I work with. With a background in learning and development, consulting, DEI implementation, and coaching, I bring a multifaceted approach to leadership development. I create safe, judgment-free spaces where people can remove their masks, speak openly, and feel truly seen and heard.

I think leaders need to take ownership of this dynamic and commit to seeking guidance from experts like “myself” to navigate and implement effective policies. And by doing so, they will ensure that their employees feel valued. When employees feel valued, they contribute diverse experiences and perspectives to decision-making and problem-solving, which provides a significant competitive advantage.

You can't have one without the others

There are two things that you have to do in order to grow your business:

  1. You have to have a really good strategy based on your understanding of the market and competition, future technology, and anything else that is happening in your landscape.

  2. Execution and implementation. I think executing your strategic plan is as important, or even more important, than your strategy itself. Implementation is the process that turns strategies and plans into action in order to accomplish strategic objectives and goals.

Strategy, implementation, and execution are synonymous and we need all three if you are to succeed as an organisation or business entity. One is about the plan and the others are about how to get the plan done, I don’t think you can have one without the others.
